On Monday, October 23rd, we welcomed a small group of valued clients for a special feast prepared by Junior Culinary Team Canada.
Guests explored our designer showroom in Langley and enjoyed live-prepared dishes, paired with Mission Hill wines, plus an engaging live-cooking demonstration by top junior chefs from across the country. The young talented chef team prepared dishes on the Signature Kitchen Suite 48-inch Dual-Fuel Pro Range in the Midland Appliance Live Kitchen, and dined on gourmet creations that are part of the team's Olympic competition menu.
The evening‘s special menu featured locally sourced ingredients, infusing colour and flavour with an assortment of dishes to inspire any passionate home chef. Guests enjoyed h’orderves and Champagne in the Signature Kitchen Suite display before sitting down at Midland’s Live Kitchen island for a multiple-course dinner that included Beef Strip Loin with Veal Sweet Bread Mousse and Devils Food Cake with Blood Orange Namelaka and Cherry Cremeux.
The first of several collaborative evenings with Junior Culinary Team Canada & Signature Kitchen Suite, this event was hosted in support of Junior Culinary Team Canada as they prepare to compete in the 2024 Culinary World Olympics in Stuttgart, Germany.
